50 Famous Stories Retold Workbook Narration Prompts Copy Work Worksheets

This workbook goes along with the book titled 50 Famous Stories Retold by James Baldwin. You can find the book in its entirety online for free. Or you can purchase a physical copy.

The worksheets included are designed to be used along with the Charlotte Mason’s method of teaching. Each page is meant to be completed AFTER you have read each story in the 50 Famous Stories book.

On each page, there is the question: What do you remember about this story? This is to begin narration with the student. On most pages there is an additional question to keep the conversation going after your student narrates.
There is a small section with directed drawing and then there are lines for the student to copy in their handwriting to create a complete sentence or two. The sentences are either direct quotes from the correlating story or a simple sentence that summarizes a portion of the story.
There are 3 pages at the end to use as story review pages. Use these pages however you’d like.
