Winter Animals Unit Study

This beautiful watercolor Montessori and Charlotte Mason inspired unit study includes everything you need to explore how different types of animals survive the cold winter months. Some animals hibernate, others migrate to warmer climates and others have developed adaptations to help protect them from the cold weather. Includes several Montessori materials including a set of 3 part cards for 24 animals, a hibernation matching activity, sorting mats to sort the animals into the 3 different groups and a pin-pricking activity. There is also a Winter Animals Bingo game to help children solidify the knowledge learned in a really fun way. Kids also get to make a fun, interactive reader where they can cut and paste the animals into their book based on what they read.

Also included is a 14 Page Teacher’s Guide with lots of Montessori-inspired activities as well as other activities to help develop fine motor, gross motor, language and math skills. Fun crafts, recipes, poems, games are also included to make this unit super fun and very engaging for your child!
