I actually came across this book at a book sale, and instantly loved it! At the time I was teaching public school, and shared it with my first graders. It was an instant hit! When I began homeschooling, I knew I wanted to use it with my superhero-loving child! It is a cute story with a great message about how being “average” doesn’t mean you can’t do great things.
In this lesson, our focus will be to determine the central message of a story. The lesson is focused around the book “Superbat” by Matt Carr.
