Description

Play at Home Preschool is a play-based curriculum that centers around literature, play, and connection designed to engage your young learner!

Our preschool curriculum is organized by month. Each of the nine months provides a book list of sixteen books to be paired with one or multiple activities. We recommend books be borrowed from your local library or found online as a read aloud. Many will be easy to substitute with books from your very own library.

Each week, choose how many activities you want to complete. Pair with various texts. Activities will center on letter names and sounds, retelling and sequencing, numbers, matching, sorting, pattern building, nature play, sensory play, baking, and lifelong skill building.

This preschool program is intended to pair literature with play based learning. In the early years, it is crucial children are learning through connection and play. The activities included in this curriculum take little time to set up and roughly 15-30 minutes to complete. Structure these activities around your learner’s needs. You may complete more activities on one day, and none on others. Go at your own pace and pick and choose what works for you! You know your child best and will learn along the way their preferred methods of learning and activities.
