Description

This Artist Unit is meant for family style learning. Activities can be used and adjusted for just about any age or grade. This unit can be used in any style of homeschool.
I geared this to elementary aged children, grades 1-6.

This unit includes a 6 week lesson plan. You can choose to cover each topic in one or two days a week.

Some of the techniques in this unit may seem advanced, but please rest assured, you can adjust any project to fit your child’s capabilities. Using this family style will allow your children to learn alongside each other while each child is doing what is appropriate for his age or grade. You as their parent and teacher get to decide what to challenge them with.

The artwork I chose to include in this lesson plan were chosen for a younger audience and don’t include nudity which Delacroix often portrayed. I did however include his most famous painting, Liberty Leading the People, as an art print, which you can choose whether or not to use as a visual aid.
