Description

This unit is designed to help children understand history through the lens of everyday life, specifically through the chores and responsibilities of children through different time periods in American history.

For each era, you’ll receive book suggestions, an overview of children’s everyday chores and duties, artwork from the period, writing prompts, print and cursive copywork, and two hands-on chores to try from that time period!

Hi, I’m Katie! I have been teaching for over 12 years, in many different settings and grade levels. A few years ago, I made the switch to homeschooling my own children while continuing to teach my passion subjects part-time online. I design most of my own curriculum and am here to share my resources you may also benefit from. Each resource is born from a passion or interest of my own family and children, and I hope they bring as much joy to your homeschool as they have to ours!
