Our family absolutely loves Elephant and Piggie books! I look for any opportunity to include them in our reading lessons.
This lesson teaches character, setting, and parts of a story by using the Elephant and Piggie Book “There’s a Bird on Your Head” by Mo Willems. The activities can be split throughout a week to create a unit on teaching the parts of a story. Approximate days have also been included to help you divide the activities across multiple days.
