Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Poster

I created this poster of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs for my consulting clients to analyze the behaviors of children with special needs for the purpose of creating goals in a homeschool setting. This poster accompanies my blog post on “How to Use Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in a Special Needs Homeschool.” However, Maslow’s hierarchy is useful for parents, teachers, psychologists, professors, and university students. This poster lists the five heirarchical levels as posited by Maslow and provides subcategories of needs. The hierarchy reminds us that all humans have needs, including children. When children have special needs, they often can’t communicate in words, so their behaviors give us clues to what they need.
